Our Baby's Crib!!!

Oh I am so so so excited! Months ago I started looking at cribs and just didn't find any that I really liked that would last for years. We are planning on more kids in the future so we were wanting a crib that would last for multiple babies. We found one at Burlington that we both really LOVE. It was made out of much better material than most of the other cribs I was looking at from Walmart and Target. We put it on layaway and then picked it up last weekend. I was wanting to put it up right away as soon as we got it home, but Collin was too busy studying for 2 very big tests this week. He promised we'd put it up on Friday. Well yesterday he surprised me and said we could put it up last night!!!! His 2 tests were finished and he was ready for a decent break from studying... for a day. I had to accompany a choir concert until about 8 then we came home and put it up. It looks SO good! We love it! I had so much fun putting it up with Collin. I was just tightening bolts and screws and Collin was the one lifting things. We also had to rearrange our rooms. We have a 3 bedroom, but one is very small like an office. We had to move the things in the second bedroom (our office/sewing room) into the small room so that we could get the baby's crib and other things put up. It's so exciting seeing the room starting to come together. We have a crib, a lazy boy, and a small bookshelf I'm planning on using for blankets. I now love walking past that room and seeing our little baby boy's room coming together. Oh, we also now have a Pack-n-Play in our room for the first little while he's here. I'm only 23 weeks pregnant, but I'm definitely wanting things being put together now. Better to have it done early than wait til the last minute and be stressed out at the end.

We still need sheets for the mattress and I'm working on the blanket I'm planning on using for his crib. Oh we LOVE this crib!!!! 

Thanks to my in-laws Scott and Mitzi for being so kind and generous with buying our very first crib!!! We love you tons and are super grateful for all you do for us!!!
