6 Months Old!!!

Our Little Mr. Scott is 6 months old! That means he's closer to being one than zero! How did that even happen?! We absolutely love him and his fun personality. He seriously is such a ham! I have a feeling he's going to be a lot like his dad and be super funny and crack jokes all the time. Here's an update on him, including items for when he was 5 months old.

5 months:
- We got him a Jumperoo and he loves it! It's fun to see him in there just jumping away. Also, now he wants to jump ALL the time!
- He thinks it's so fun to kick the wall or his toys. Sometimes he'll just be laying there having fun kicking his toys instead of actually playing with them.
- He's majorly doing "stranger danger" right now. Even with friends that we see at least once a week. He'll be fine for a minute or two but as soon as he sees one of us, he starts crying. He only wants Mom or Dad holding him, which is mostly okay with us. Sometimes it would be nice to have a little break every once in awhile.
- He loves scratching everything. Anything he touches he scratches.
- Rolls from his back to front but only going to the left.
- Tasted a few foods: apple, orange, tomato, banana.
- Mom and Dad left him for the first time on Valentine's Day while we went for lunch. He cried the whole time we were gone. Thankfully we have an awesome friend who was okay with it.
- Loves singing Primary Songs with us at night

6 months:
- He now has 2 teeth! What?! It's so cute seeing those two little tiny teeth in there. He didn't show any signs of getting his first tooth other than chomping on everything. I just randomly saw it one day. The second one he did not sleep very well one night and was up about every hour. The next day his second tooth showed up. They happened within a week of each other.
- Can roll both ways from his back and rolls all over the floor. This makes it really hard to change his diaper.
- He does a slow army crawl. Our child is mobile now, watch out!
- He loves food! We've given him oatmeal, sweet potatoes, green beans, and any fruit we have for dinner he can suck the juice out or we can cut small for him.
- Went on his first airplane flight to Arizona a few weeks ago for his cousin's baby blessing. While there he got to meet all his Aunts and Uncle and cousins on the Barker side. We had so much fun! He also hardly did his "stranger danger" with them. He LOVED his cousins! He loved to play with and give them kisses. It was so fun to see them having fun altogether.
- Speaking of which, his "stranger danger" is not as bad as it used to be so that's nice!
- He's still waking up 2 or 3 times a night.
- Sitting up like a pro now with just the occasional fall.
- Loves to listen to Mom play piano.
- He seriously is such a happy baby. Starting just a few days ago he starts laughing anytime we laugh. We use this to our benefit and fake laugh just to hear him laugh. He's so cute when he's giggling and laughing.
- He loves the song "Slippery Fish". Every time I sing it with him he smiles and tries singing with me. I've started singing it super fast with him and he just laughs.
- Loves playing with anything that's not a toy: my phone, Collin's textbooks, paper, bags (we watch him very closely with bags and paper), etc.

He loves going down the stairs, especially when Dad's behind him.

He slowly ate that whole piece. He loved it!!!

It's all down his shirt too. That's how delicious it was!

We've had BEAUTIFUL weather lately and have gotten to go for lots of walks. 

He now is riding like a big boy and not in his car seat in the stroller.
