Then on Thanksgiving we of course had to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. We were invited to have Thanksgiving at a ward member's home with several other families. We had a lot of delicious food there too. We are so grateful for all of our friends here and the wonderful people we are meeting.
We then went Black Friday shopping. We were hoping to get a TV, but let's be real, hardly anyone walks out of Walmart with a TV on Black Friday. We did get all of our Christmas taken care of though that night. Well, Collin still has to buy me a present, but other than that we are done. Everyone we talked with at Walmart was super nice and helpful, but there were 2 fights during the 2 hours we were there. Ridiculous. I don't understand why people get that upset over shopping. Is it really that important? Didn't think so.
And when we got home, Collin said we could put up our Christmas tree. Christmas is my favorite holiday so I was SO excited. I sure do love my husband and he definitely spoils me.
We had Peach, pecan, pumpkin, peanut butter, chocolate, caramel apple,
and a "dirt cake with worms" for the kids.
Here's our friends starting from the left:
Kurt and Kelly, Kevin and Ashley, Nathan (holding Kevin and Ashley's baby) and Lisa
Our little old Christmas tree with presents already under the tree.
Seems like you have so many friends already, way to go! I love the holidays, so glad you're enjoying them out there!
