Yep we haven't updated on here for like a year and a half so I will do my best to make up for lost time. December was our first Christmas together and we had a meager first Christmas. But we loved it! We got a Blu-Ray player, 5 or 6 DVDs, and we each gave each other a small little present. Collin game me a Phoenix Suns couch pillow and I gave him a nice white and gray striped sweater. We then went to AZ with my family for a week and that was a lot of fun. This was Collin's first time going to AZ and he loved it (which is very good).
January 2012 was a scary month for us. My Nanny passed away after being sick in the hospital for about a month. This was so sad for me. She was the one who made me want to play piano when I was little. I wanted to play just like her. Having her die before my Senior Piano Recital was very very very hard, but I know she will be there in Spirit listening. I know there is no way she would miss it. Just after Nanny died Collin's dad was in the ICU. He was so sick. He had a horrible cold with an infection on his stomach that burst. They had to drain fluids out of him. It was so scary. We went down to AZ for my Nanny's funeral and I was so afraid the whole time that my father-in-law was going to pass away as well. Luckily, he didn't and he's doing great now. I had to play a musical number at Nanny's funeral which was very hard for me, but luckily I was comforted for those 5 minutes that I didn't cry until I sat back down next to Collin. I'm so grateful for her and the life she lived and her absolutely amazing testimony!
For our first married Valentine's Day I made Collin Snickerdoodles and he gave me the Proposal and a bag of Ghiradelli chocolates, just like when we were dating. We also went to see The Vow. It wasn't as good as I was hoping but I still liked it. Collin's birthday is also in February and we had a lot of fun for that.
I don't think much happened until summer. We had so much fun during the summer. We went to the cabin at Bear Lake several times. I tried water skiing and I got it! And it was so much fun! The water wasn't super cold like other times I've been there so that was definitely a plus! One of the times we went to Bear Lake we went on a family hike to Bloomington Lake which was really pretty. There was even a rope swing to swing into the lake, which of course Collin had to try. It was a lot of fun though and a very mild hike. We also went on a trip to AZ and Vegas. Collin says he experienced something totally new for him in AZ, it's hot but when the wind blows, the wind is still very hot as well. It was strange for him, but awesome for me! I miss AZ summers! In Vegas we went boating with Collin's brother, Boone's family. We had so much fun with them. We also celebrated our anniversary while there by going to see Phantom of the Opera.
And this is all I have time for so I'll finish another time!

I did it! And we have proof!
Collin is much better than me!
